About Us

History –  Faith First is a new growing church in Clay County Florida. We are just minutes from the city of Jacksonville and the communities of Orange Park, Oakleaf, Fleming Island and Middleburg. We have a passion to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and a VISION to impact the community.  The name Faith First comes from the understanding that having Faith in Jesus Christ First is imperative as we live our lives built on His foundation. Community comes from the desire to serve others as we share the love and grace Jesus Christ has shown us.

What can I expect on Sunday Mornings?

·         Faith First is rapidly growing as God continues to shape us into His church. Beginning at 9:30AM you can be part of relevant small group bible studies for all ages. Worship service begins at 11:00AM.

        Sunday mornings are a time of fellowship and getting connected as we meet and worship together.  Following a time of powerful praise and worship Pastor Terry leads into the message. The atmosphere is comfortable and friendly as we go deep into God's word together.           

What kind of church is this?

Faith First Community Church is a casual, contemporary, and caring church serving the growing communities in Clay County and the city of Jacksonville Florida.  We want to impact our community by sharing the good news of Jesus Christ to our community in a culturally relevant way. We also desire to see people grow in their faith and become disciples of Jesus Christ. Faith First is a place where people can be real and can come to know Jesus Christ in a real and personal way.

What should I wear?

Be yourself!!!! There is no dress code at Faith First. We encourage everyone to dress casually or whatever is comfortable for you. So, feel free to leave the tie at home.

What's available for my children?

·          At Faith First, our kids have fun and grow in their knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! It is our desire to make sure your children have a positive experience when they are with us.

        Wednesday nights in addition to the adult bible studies our youth spend time with bible studies, children's choir and games and crafts.

       On Sundays infants can expect a warm and welcoming nursery to meet their needs. Kids Kindergarten – 12th grade can expect outdoor activities, crafts and relevant Bible studies by Pastor Terry, Children's Director Misty Sullivan and our volunteers. Youth bible studies begin at 9:30AM and end at 10:30AM. Service begins at 11:00AM. Youth are welcome to stay during service or participate in the children's church program which begins at 11:30.

       Our children are also actively involved in Vacation Bible School, Christian Camping, Children’s Choir and monthly youth activities and retreats.

Is Faith First Community Church                        non-denominational?

We consider our church to be one expression of God's church. Within the boundaries of the Bible, we neither encourage nor teach religious division, where one denomination or church group is considered superior to another.

We are affiliated and receive support from the Florida Conference of Advent Christian Churches through which foreign missions, publications, Bible-training, camps church planting and much more are carried out.

Our congregation is composed of persons from across the spectrum of Christianity: Advent Christian, Baptist, Lutheran, Methodist, Presbyterian, Catholic, Episcopal, etc.
